Le Nominations per la 68esim edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards sono state annunciate ieri mattina (pomeriggio italiano) da Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) e Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), e Game of Thrones guida la lista dei più nominati con ben 23 candidature, incluso best drama e con 3 supporting actress a contendersi la vittoria.
American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson segue con 22 e la seconda stagione di Fargo raggiunge le 18.
Mancano sicuramente alcune cose importanti come The Leftovers o Billions, la Green di Penny Dreadfull o un po’ di maggiore considerazione per i drama Netflix che non siano House of Cards. I nomi sono spesso sempre “gli stessi”, accusa spesso rivolta agli Emmy, però la lista dei nomi è buona. Personalmente non trovo quasi nessuno “fuori posto” in questa edizione. Magari avrei preferito alcuni ad altri, però, nessuno scandalo a mio giudizio.
Gli Emmy verranno consegnati domenica 18 settembre al Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles.
